Q:  Does my website have to have an official Norwex logo on it?

A: Yes - Your website MUST have an official Norwex logo displayed prominently somewhere on it, and your website comes with one in your header and/or on all pages of your site, as you prefer.

Q: All of your live client sites are different. Why?

A: We custom tailor the color scheme of your website to the custom header graphic we make for you using the image of your choice (read down a little farther to learn about how to choose your header graphic).

Q: Are there any restrictions on how my website can look in terms of color scheme?

A: When choosing a color scheme for your website, we recommend that you try to choose colors that are naturally associated with clean. Greens, blues, whites etc. all give a feeling of clean; however, your color scheme is up to you. We will design your color scheme around the header graphic you choose for your site. Please know that Norwex requires the prominent use of one of their registered logos, and that these are primarily blue.

Q: How do I choose a header graphic for my website?

A: Your header graphic, as with all other graphics used on your site, cannot be randomly pulled off the internet. In order to meet copyright regulations, a site license must be purchased for all images used on your website. We use www.istockphoto.com and www.bigstockphoto.com , and your job is to browse through the images on one or both sites. When you find the one you like the best, make a note of which website it came from and what the stock # is on it, and we will purchase it on your behalf in the correct size to be used for  your header.

"I am really having trouble deciding on a header image…any suggestions?"

It really depends on the look you are going for, and the color scheme that you are thinking you would like.  Do you want to go with leaves and water, or do you want some color; flowers maybe?  Do you like actual photos, or do you like more abstract things?  Do you want there to be people in the header or just nature?? 

The best thing to do is go to www.bigstockphoto.com or istockphoto.com and type in keywords like leaf, water, nature, family, flowers, orchids, lilies, cleaning, clean laundry, sunshine, green grass, wiping, eco-friendly.....anything that you think you might like, and then just start browsing, taking note of the ID number of the ones that catch your attention.  Remember that the picture needs to be a horizontal one (↔), not vertical (↑), for the header.

I would also encourage you to keep it simple, because we are going to add text and an official Norwex logo and your name......so you don't want a really busy picture, and then have to add a bunch more to it.  Remember too that YOU have to love it - don't worry so much about what other people will think - get something that you think is just lovely, and that you'll want to sit down at your computer and just stare at when it's all said and done!

Q: Can I choose a graphic from another image website?

A: Yes. If you want to use a graphic from a different image website, please purchase one that is approximately 1000px wide and send it to us by email. We do not refund any monies paid if you take this option.

Q: Can I choose a photograph that I took myself or that I have permission to use? What about a drawing done by my child?

A: Yes. If you want to use one of your own photographs, please ensure it's a reasonably high-resolution image. Just send it to us by email. Scan any drawing you'd like to use and send it by email. The resolution will be "as-is." We do not refund any monies paid if you take this option.

Q: Can I have a picture of myself in my header or somewhere prominent on my site?

A: Yes. Marketing research shows clearly that buyers are buying a relationship, not just a product. People want to make a connection with the person they're buying from! We strongly recommend that you have a picture of yourself somehwere on your website. Possible places to put a picture of yourself include in your header, on your About Me page, and/or on your contact page,

Q: I like more than one image and I can't decide between them. Can you do a mock-up of each so I can see what they will look like?

A: No. In order to keep our prices low, we do not offer mock-ups of more than one image. We ask you to choose one image from which we will create your custom website header. We will ask you to approve it or suggest changes to it until you are happy with it.

BUT: If you really can't decide, please email us with the website(s) and stock numbers of your top 2 or 3 and we will be happy to let you know which we think will make the best final product.

Q: Can I have a blog on my website?

A: Yes. We recommend that you use Blogger to create a blog. Having a second website that gets indexed by search engines is great for your searchability. Additionally, we can create a matching blog template for your blogger site so that it's a fairly seamless transition when you move back and forth between your main site and your blog. If you want your Blogger blog to have a custom template & header to coordinate with your Zen Cart site, it is an additional $100 for the template design.
