Q:  Is this website just a shopping cart site?

A: No. A Zen Cart website is a true Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to add, rearrange and delete information. This means that if you want to add content that is unique to your site, you can, and it is very easy to do. Q: Is this a work-free website?

A: No. Owning a website takes work. While your website comes with pre-written information and the current catalogue, it will be up to you to make updates. In addition, you will need to market your site in a variety of ways in order to help it be found by searchers. We provide training on how to do tasks on your site, how to market your site, etc. but it is up to you to do it.

Q: Is this a replicated website?

A: Yes and no. A replicated website is one that has identical content to all the other websites of its kind. Every Norwex website from Deja's Norwex starts out with the SAME pre-written content, so in this way, your site is indeed a replicated website. It is good content: informative; interesting; and useful to buyers. However...

Search engines don't like replicated websites! If your content is identical to the content of a whole bunch of other sites, the search engines tend to ignore all of them because they see them as one site rather than as individual sites. The way to make your site unique is to customize your content.

SO... The intent is that you as the website owner will customize your website's content to some degree so that it is not an exact replica of anyone else's website. You will do this in part by by creating information for your "About Me" page. You can also do it by revising the text on your home page and on other site pages. Yet another way to do this is to make changes to the way your catalogue is laid out and/or to the product descriptions. We provide training on how to do each of these tasks.

Q:  Is this website system affiliated with Norwex Head Office?

A: No. Norwex as a corporate entity does not provide its consultants with websites. We are an independent provider of Norwex consultant websites.

Q:  Do I own my website, or am I "renting" it?

A: You own your domain name and you own your Norwex website; they belong 100% to you. Your website is hosted with Deja's Norwex when you buy it, but you can move it at any time to any other hosting company you choose. If ever you want to move to another hosting company, we will be happy to zip your site files and database for you so you can have your website reintsalled elsehwere. In that case, if you need help with your site, our hourly support charge will be $75 rather than $50. If you ever want to sell your Norwex website, you can do that, too. Hosting is month-to-month, and you can cancel at any time without penalty.

Q:  Is this website Norwex-approved?

A: Yes. We have received official written approval from Norwex for all content and formatting on our websites.

Q:  What is the cost of this website?

A: Custom sites are $399. Ready-To-Go sites are $359. The cost to host it is $9.99 per month (or $96 per year).

Q:  What's the difference between your Ready-To-Go Sites for $359 and your Custom Sites for $399?

A: In terms of the functions you get with your site, Ready-To-Go Sites are identical. You can even use your own domain name on a Ready-To-Go site if you don't like the one it comes with. The ONLY differences between the two are as follows:

1. Ready-To-Go sites are pre-designed and only MINOR changes can be made to the design.  Custom websites are designed from scratch around a header graphic that you choose. In this way, you can control the look of your website.
2. Custom sites take us more time to make than pre-designed sites, so we charge a little more for them.

Q: Is there any way to receive a discount on my site?

A: If you are a consultant on Deja's team, you are entitled to a $30 discount. Please contact Deja for a coupon code that you can redeem when you buy your website.

Q: How quickly can I get my website?

A: This depends upon how quickly you do your part to get information to us:

1. choose a header graphic for your site (this is the graphic header at the top of all the pages of your site)
2. approve the color scheme and header design for your site
3. get us your payment information (PayPal and any other methods of payment you want to take)
4. get us any other information we ask for

If all goes smoothly your site can be operational in about 2-3 weeks or even less.
